  • Day 01: Airport / Negombo (Approximate travel time 20 mts)
    • Welcome at Airport by Helanka Vacations representative and transfer to Negombo.
    • Negombo, situated by the shores of a lagoon which was once a trading port for Portuguese and Dutch. The economy of Negombo is mainly based on its centuries-old fishing industry, though it also produces cinnamon, ceramics, and brassware.
    • Arrive and check in to Hotel in Negombo.
    • Afternoon visit the Negombo City Called Little Rome.
    • Your visit will includes: Negombo Fishing Village / St. Marys Cathedral / Dutch Fort / Negombo Dutch Canal.
    • Return to the hotel.
  • Day 02: Anuradhapura / Aukana / Dambulla (Approximate travel time 2-3 hours)
    • Breakfast at Hotel, proceed to Dambulla.
    • En route visit Aukana Buddha Statue.
    • Aukana Buddha Statue, rises to a height of 11.36 meters, it is the tallest ancient Buddha statue in Sri Lanka. It is said that the degree of alignment of the statue is such that a raindrop on the nose would drop straight down to a small depression carved between the toes of the statue. The Aukana Buddha statue is a masterpiece by an unknown sculptor: the serene expression of the statue, the gracefully carved robe with neat pleats brings in delicateness that could hardly be molded into a rock.
    • Proceed to Dambulla.
    • Dambulla, was declared a World Heritage site in 1991. The Cave Temple had first been constructed during the reign of King Vattagamini Abhaya. There are 5 caves in the temple and 157 statues of the Lord Buddha, with paintings on the ceilings and walls of the cave. The paintings of the cave highlight the past of Lord Buddha
    • Visit Dambulla Cave temple. Dambulla Cave Temple, was declared a World Heritage site in 1991. The Cave Temple had first been constructed during the reign of King Vattagamini Abhaya. There are 5 caves in the temple and 157 statues of the Lord Buddha, with paintings on the ceilings and walls of the cave. The paintings of the cave highlight the past of Lord Buddha.
    • Check in to Hotel in Dambulla.
  • Day 03: Kandy / Colombo (Approximate travel time 4 5 hours)
    • Breakfast at Hotel.
    • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic for the ceremony.
    • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic; the crown jewel of the Kandy city is also known as Dalada Maligawa. Maligawa translates to palace and the temple is a part of it. It has seen centuries of peaceful reigns and is one of the many historical places on the island. Walk around the Kandy Lake, also known as the sea of milk is situated in the heart of Kandy (next to the Temple of the Tooth Relic), it was built in 1807 by the last king of Sri Lanka. This lake is highly protected as it has many auspicious stories related to it.
    • Proceed to Colombo.
    • Arrive and check in to Hotel in Colombo.
    • Evening free time to shopping.
    • The nightlife here is lively at a number of clubs, pubs and dining venues.
    • Return to the hotel.
